Liquid Rubber refers to a class of highly flexible, water-based membranes designed for waterproofing, sealing, and protective coatings. Products like VersEseal Rapid Build, Quick Set, VerseGRIP, FerriSeal and TerraSeal fall under this category. These membranes are used across commercial roofing, water storage, containment, landscaping, marine infrastructure, and civil applications.
Yes. Several LRM Products are independently tested to AS 4858:2004 or AS 4654.1:2012 and qualify as Class 3 membranes, including VersEseal Quick Set, VersEseal Rapid Build, VerseGRIP, TerraSeal, FerriSeal and VersEseal IWP100 Under Tile Waterproofing Membrane. These membranes are designed for high-performance waterproofing and protective sealing across a wide range of commercial and industrial applications.
For bathroom and wet area applications, we recommend VersEseal IWP 100 Under Tile Waterproofing Membrane. It is tested and approved to AS 4858:2004 and meets the requirements of AS 3740:2021 for internal wet area membranes. VersEseal IWP 100 Under Tile Waterproofing Membrane is also suitable to be used under external tiles making it suitable for both internal and external areas such as bathrooms, balconies, and laundry rooms.
Products such as VersEseal Rapid Build, and VersEseal Top Coat are independently tested and approved to AS 4020:2018 for use in potable water applications.
VersEseal Rapid Build is ideal for waterproofing water tanks, reservoirs, aquaponics systems, and other applications where water remains in prolonged contact with the surface.
VersEseal Top Coat is suitable for use on roofs where rainwater is collected for drinking, but it is not recommended for applications involving continuous water ponding such as tanks or ponds.
Use VersEseal Rust Convertor and Primer to stabilise rusted surfaces before applying any Liquid Rubber membrane or protective coating. This stops further corrosion and enhances adhesion of the final coating.
Yes. VerseGRIP and VersEseal TopGrip are non-slip coatings tested to AS 4586:2013, achieving a P5 slip rating. They are ideal for stairs, walkways, livestock areas, loading zones, and wet processing environments. These coatings are VOC-free and safe for confined or sensitive use cases.
Yes. Products such as VersEseal Rapid Build, VerseGRIP and FerriSeal are suitable for marine and coastal use. They offer protection against water ingress, UV exposure, and corrosion on docks, pontoons, boat decks, marine tanks, and offshore platforms. FerriSeal is especially effective as an anti-corrosion coating for steel infrastructure.
- VersEseal Top Coat is a UV-stable elastomeric finish available in white and Colorbond® colours, ideal for aesthetic and reflective finishes over waterproof membranes.
- VersEseal TopGrip includes a non-slip additive for trafficable areas, combining safety with long-term durability. This product is also available in white and Colorbond® colours.
Yes. Most of our Liquid Rubber membranes, such as VersEseal Rapid Build and VersEseal Quick Set, can be applied over existing substrates including concrete, tiles, metal, and fibre cement sheeting. Primers such as VersEseal Porous Primer (suitable for glossy tiles or similar) or VersEseal Non Porous Primer (Suitable for fibre cement sheet or similar) may be required depending on the substrate type to ensure proper adhesion. Our membranes are not suitable for use with hydrocarbons, solvents, or petroleum-based products such as petrol, diesel, and oils. For environments where these are present, please contact us to discuss alternative solutions or specialised product recommendations.

Each project is assessed individually, and recommendations are made regarding coating thickness, substrate preparation, and application techniques to ensure performance outcomes meet the specified warranty duration.
